Akeeba Kickstart requires PHP 5.6.0 or later.
You can check our Compatibility page to see which versions of PHP are supported by each version of our software, select the newest one that fits your site's needs and upgrade your site to it. If you are unsure how to do this, please ask your host.
Version numbers don't make sense?
Your version of PHP, 5.4.45, has reached the end of its life a very long time ago, namely on Thursday, 03 September 2015. It has known security vulnerabilities which can be used to compromise (“hack”) web servers. It is no longer safe using it in production. You are VERY STRONGLY advised to upgrade your server to a supported PHP version as soon as possible.
